BACKGROUND:
On September 17, 2025, the City entered into an agreement with All City Management Services, Inc. to provide school crossing guard services pursuant to RFP No. 07-16-25-09. On February 10, 2026, the City executed Amendment No. 1 to the agreement, replacing Attachment A with Attachment A-1 to reflect revised school service times, reassignment of school crossing guard locations, and adjustments to the City’s authority to modify school crossing guard assignments based on operational needs, pedestrian traffic patterns, and student safety considerations.
DISCUSSION:
Coconut Creek Elementary has since been renamed Coconut Creek K-8 Academy of Excellence and has adjusted its operating hours, adding an additional thirty (30) minutes of coverage in the afternoon. This change results in an increased cost of thirteen thousand dollars ($13,000) to the original agreement amount. Both parties agree to execute Amendment No. 2 to the agreement to replace Attachment A-1 with Attachment A-2 to reflect the changes to the school name and operating hours.
