The Lifesaving Commendation Award recognizes police officers for competent and expedient action directly responsible for sustaining or saving human life, or for an act that removes a person from a situation which would have resulted in his or her imminent death. The attached Department Commendation letter details such efforts by Police Officers Amanda Cummings and Ricardo Padron on August 9, 2019.
