A PRESENTATION OF THE COCONUT CREEK GIRLS’ BASKETBALL MAYOR’S AWARD.

BACKGROUND:
The Parks and Recreation Department, in conjunction with league coaches, annually nominates and selects recipients for this award from a field of over 80 participants. Selection is based on teamwork and portrayal of good sportsmanship throughout the season.
This year’s award will be presented to two (2) youth basketball players from the 2018 Coconut Creek Girls’ Basketball program who exemplified outstanding sportsmanship and promoted a positive experience for all of the participants.
The 2018 Girls’ Basketball Mayor’s Award recipients are:
8-10 Age Division - Julianna Bowen (Force Team)
11-14 Age Division - Hannah Smith (Storm Team)
