A RESOLUTION APPOINTING TWO (2) REGULAR MEMBERS AND ONE (1) ALTERNATE MEMBER TO THE CIVIL SERVICE BOARD FOR A TWO-YEAR TERM.

BACKGROUND:

 

In accordance with Section 21-2.1 of the Code of Ordinances, the Commission as a whole will appoint two (2) regular members and one (1) alternate member to the Civil Service Board.  These appointments are two-year terms that will expire on the date of the second regularly-scheduled Commission meeting in April 2025. 

DISCUSSION:

Currently, the regular member positions are held by Doreen Chamberlain and Nikki-Ann Thomson-Parkinson; the alternate member is Steven Valentine. The appointees must be residents, who are not employed by the City.
