A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING A RE-DISTRICTING BOARD AND APPOINTING FIVE (5) MEMBERS, ONE (1) FROM EACH DISTRICT, TO THE RE-DISTRICTING BOARD FOR A TERM OF ONE HUNDRED TWENTY (120) DAYS, COMMENCING ON APRIL 9, 2026.

BACKGROUND:
In accordance with section 908 of the City’s Charter, the City Commission shall establish and appoint a Re-Districting Board, consisting of five (5) electors of the City holding no other office, except on advisory bodies of the City, one (1) from each district, by July 15, 2026. This appointment shall be for a term of one hundred twenty (120) days that will expire on August 7, 2026. The Re-Districting Board must submit a report to the City Commission within the one hundred twenty (120) days, outlining the need for re-districting and their recommendations.
