BACKGROUND:
The Special Events Assistance Program is designed to help non-profit organizations produce cultural, educational, business promotional, and recreational events within the City of Coconut Creek that serve residents and showcase the City’s premier residential and business community. Assistance may be provided in the form of in-kind services or a grant.
This application cycle covers events to be held during the second six months of the fiscal year SPRING / SUMMER (April 1 through September 30).
DISCUSSION:
The following applications were received for the SPRING / SUMMER 2024 application cycle:
• SOS Children’s Villages Florida - Grand Opening of Administration Building
• SOS Children’s Villages Florida - Voices of Foster Care Breakfast
• South Florida Academy of Learning (D/B/A South Florida Jewish Academy) - 10th Annual South Florida Jewish Academy Lapathon and Open House
• South Florida Chamber Ensemble - Minds In Harmony
