A RESOLUTION RATIFYING AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER, OR DESIGNEE, TO EXECUTE THE ATTACHED COLLECTIVE BARGAINING AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF COCONUT CREEK AND THE BROWARD COUNTY POLICE BENEVOLENT ASSOCIATION, POLICE SERGEANTS’ UNIT.

BACKGROUND:
The City is committed to providing a competitive compensation and benefits package, designed to attract and retain highly qualified employees, while maintaining fiscal responsibility.
DISCUSSION:
The City has completed the collective bargaining process with the Police Sergeants’ Unit, resulting in a new Collective Bargaining Agreement with a three-year term. The agreement alters wages, benefits, and other conditions of employment that are deemed to be in the best interests of the City.
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends approval of this resolution.
