BACKGROUND:
Jaime Alberti, Broward County Public Schools (BCPS) Chief of Safety, Security and Emergency Preparedness and Craig Kowalski, BCPS Chief, Special Investigative Unit (SUI) will provide an update on the BCPS Security and Safety Plan as it pertains to the School Resource Officer (SRO) Program and the change in structure related to the separation of a school principal’s responsibility from security and safety.
