BACKGROUND:
The City of Coconut Creek’s Green Plan includes a Community Outreach and Empowerment goal, which provides for designating a “Green Day,” which we now refer to as a “Sustainability Day.” This year, in order to highlight both Earth Day on April 22 and the City’s Arbor Day Free Tree Giveaway event on April 27, the City designates April 21-28 as “City Sustainability Week 2024.”
